If you are already familiar with Python, then this book may be interesting for you, as you will get to know different algorithms and then implement them in Python.

With many books, you are often only shown how to build an algorithm and how it works, but you cannot test it yourself. It is all the nicer that the author took the trouble to present the algorithms in Python. It does not require advanced knowledge, but you should be familiar with the basics of the programming language.

What I found most interesting about the book were the solutions to Tic-Tac-Toe and Connect Four. Here you will design your own AI that can play against you. You will get an insight into how a small AI works and also understand how such a game works internally.

In general, the book is also very suitable for students, as algorithms are often dealt with there. It has to be said that they will probably deviate from those in the book, that was definitely the case with me, but it still makes it easier to generalize in some areas.

All in all, I find this book very exciting because you will get to know another aspect of Python and deal with algorithms that are often needed and are also a requirement for many jobs in the field of programming. So you can do little wrong with this book.
