If your phone is lost or stolen, contact your operator right away and ask them to block the connection until you know what happened.

Sign in to Seller Central and click at the bottom of the Two-Step Verification page Did you not receive the code?to access your seller account. Select your backup method for receiving your code.

If you don't have a backup device and can't change your settings, use two-step verification to perform account recovery. For this process it is necessary that you identify yourself by sending suitable documents. After verification (usually within 12 hours), two-step verification will be disabled so you can log in. The next time you log in, you'll need to set up two-step verification again, this time using devices you have access to.

Annotation: Seller service cannot override this verification process.

There are several steps you can take to ensure that you always have access to your account.

  1. Establish a reliable backup method when you enable two-step verification. Then if your cell phone number changes or you lose your phone and you haven't updated your account, you will still be able to access your account.
  2. Make sure your advanced security settings are up to date. In Seller Central, click Settings > Login settings > Advanced security settings > To editto view your settings. Before you can make any changes, you must be sent a code that must first be validated.
