Who started mixing milk and tea

can i mix expressed breast milk with tea?

Hello Dr. Buses.

I've been pumping for 3 weeks because breastfeeding didn't work out and I'm coping well.

But my little one has bad colic and screams every time he drinks. After 20-30 ml, he stops drinking. I then started to give the dill tea and he no longer has colic as a result.

Could I mix his tea with his breast milk for him? So 30 ml of tea and 90 ml of breast milk?

Dear P.,
You must not dilute the baby food, regardless of whether it is breast milk or "artificial". And babies only need additional fluid for the 3rd complementary meal. Before that, that from the milk is more than enough. Talk to your pediatrician about "colic".
All the best!
