How does Twitter work with brands

The top 25 brands on Twitter with the most active followers

Interaction rates are one of the most important KPIs on Facebook. What is a Like, Comment, or Share on Facebook is a ReTweet, Mention (Twitter Button), or @ -Reply on Twitter.

Nestivity has analyzed over 100 million Twitter accounts and created a top 25 ranking. The more user actions a tweet has, the better the position in the ranking list. The infographic is supposed to relate to brands, but the first place isn't a company, it's Notebooks of Love with 1,403 interactions per tweet.

Commitment isn't scary, it's the thought of committing to the wrong person that is.

In second place follows Disneywords and only in the following places do brands appear with ESPN, PlayStation and Disney. The differences between ESPN (898 reactions) and the PlayStation Account (510 reactions) are very large. With a few exceptions, a connection between the reactions and the number of published tweets can be seen. Notebook of Love and Disneywords have the highest number of tweets. Only the NBA, WWE and MTV tweeted more often.

But there is another way, as Facebook shows in 12th place. Only one tweet was published during the study period, but this received 298 user responses. Facebook has been more active since April. Although very few tweets are published compared to the other accounts in the top 25, ten tweets in a month is a good average for Facebook.

All the accounts examined have over 1 million followers. With 23.7 million followers, YouTube is way ahead. However, the number in itself is not a guarantee of success, because 70% of the accounts with the fewest interactions have over 1 million followers.

Oreo and Adobe did not make it into the top 25, despite good content and excellent real-time marketing.
