What is emergency power?

As Emergency power is the term used to describe the property of a storage system to provide energy via a separate connection in the event of a power failure. These usually also need to be manually be plugged into the emergency power supply. Additional complex components are not required here. What is backup power?

Storage systems with Backup power are able to independently switch all consumers to the in-house battery storage system in the event of a public grid failure. Depending on the structure of the system, the 1 or 3-phase battery backup grid. After switching, it takes approx. 5-20 seconds until all consumers are supplied again. An uninterruptible power supply (UPS) is therefore not available.
