What is compressible liquid?

In general, gases (and plasma = ionized gas) are called compressible liquids. Under normal temperature and pressure conditions, the volume or density of a liquid does not change. However, gases show a variation in volume (hence density), even if there are only slight fluctuations in temperature or pressure. To name a particular compressible fluid, it should show a significant change in density when a pressure or force is applied.
