Can I apply for the NATA exam?

entry requirements

You need at least a secondary school certificate or another completed ten-year schooling. You should also have an interest in the job, a high level of motivation and physical resilience.

Application documents

  • letter of application
  • Passport photo
  • handwritten, tabular, complete curriculum vitae
  • Copy of the birth certificate
  • A certified copy of proof of secondary education (e.g. secondary school leaving certificate, if applicable, current half-year report, annual report 10th grade high school)
  • A certified copy of an examination certificate from any existing professional training
  • If the above-mentioned certificates are not available: Certificate of completion of secondary school and examination certificate of at least two years of vocational training or one-year nursing assistant training, each in a certified copy
  • Sufficiently stamped A4 envelope
  • possibly proof of internships (in the delivery room, with a freelance midwife, in nursing)

Please do not send us any folders or binders!

Applicant selection

Applicants are selected by:

  • Lottery (in March) and
  • Interviews (around April)

Application period

You can apply from December 2020 up to and including February 2021 to start training in October 2021.

Please note that only complete application documents will be admitted to the selection process.

Shortened training

Registered nurses can only apply to our school for a two-year training course.
