Date: July 20-22, 2020 - postponed to June 14-16, 2021
Head: Ulrich Horst (Berlin, GER), Frank Riedel (Bielefeld, GER)
In this working group we plan to bring together leading scientists from the fields of math, economics (economics), business research and engineering to discuss the latest scientific advances in a modern branch of game theory, multi-actor games. In a ZiF research group (Robust financial markets, 2015) explored the questions of Knight's uncertainty in financial markets and the associated consequences for robust financial markets. This working group should be the entry point for the transfer of the findings of this research group to questions of strategic behavior in large populations. So-called. mean-field gamesor 'Anonymous games are currently popular topics in mathematics and engineering (mean-field games) as well as in economics (anonymous games) and have been successfully applied to a wide variety of economic, financial, mathematical and engineering issues in recent years. The workshop offers researchers who work on similar issues, but from very different perspectives and who usually do not meet at joint conferences, an excellent opportunity for scientific exchange and to identify new interdisciplinary research projects.
